Biotech Corridor Membership Agreement

1. Membership Tiers and Benefits
Biotech Corridor offers the following membership tiers, each providing access to specified features and resources:

2. Payment Terms
2.1 Fees
Premium tier membership fees are charged $10 per month or $100 per annum in advance. All fees are stated in U.S. dollars and are exclusive of any applicable taxes.
2.2 Payment Processing
Payments are processed through third-party payment processors (Stripe). By providing payment information, you authorize REDI’s payment processors to charge your designated payment method for membership fees.
2.3 Failed Payments
If a payment is not received, REDI may suspend your access to paid features until payment is resolved. REDI reserves the right to terminate membership for non-payment thirty days after written notice to you.
3. Auto-Renewal
MEMBERSHIPS RENEW AUTOMATICALLY. Your membership will automatically renew at the end of each term at the then-current rate, unless you cancel before the renewal date.
4. Cancellation
You may cancel your membership at any time by clicking “Cancel membership” in your account dashboard or emailing a request for Biotech Corridor account cancellation to [email protected]. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid term. At that time, your account will revert to a Registered (free) account, and will not be billed for renewal. You may delete your account at any time.
5. Refunds
Refund policy:
- Monthly premium membership
- Full refund if canceled within 3 days of payment of the initial payment. If cancelled after the refund period, membership will remain active until the end of the current billing period with no renewal charge.
- Annual premium membership – no refunds.
6. Member Content and Listings
Paid members may submit and maintain a company directory listing, collaboration hub listing, event submissions, and other content as permitted by their tier. The license terms in the Terms of Use apply to all member-submitted content.
6.1 Listing Accuracy
Members are responsible for keeping their listings accurate and current. REDI may remove or suspend listings that are inaccurate, misleading, or violate the Terms of Use.
6.2 Listing Removal at Termination
Upon membership termination or non-renewal, REDI may remove or archive your listings. REDI is not obligated to maintain or restore content after membership ends.
7. Account Status Changes
Upgrading from Registered to Premium: Registered account holders may upgrade to a Premium membership at any time by selecting a monthly or annual plan and completing payment. Premium access begins immediately upon successful payment.
Downgrading from Premium to Registered: You may cancel your Premium membership at any time, subject to the refund terms above. After the applicable refund window, Premium features remain active through the end of your current paid term. At the end of that term, your account will automatically revert to Registered (free) account, retaining basic directory access consistent with Registered tier benefits.
8. Member Benefits and Limitations
Specific member benefits, usage limits, and feature access by tier are described on the Site and may be updated by REDI from time to time. Material reductions in tier benefits will be communicated in advance. You may terminate your membership if the updates or reductions are not acceptable by providing written notice to REDI. Continued use of the tier benefits indicates your acceptance of the updates and any material reductions.
9. Termination by REDI
REDI may terminate your membership for cause, including but not limited to: violation of these Terms or the Terms of Use, non-payment, fraudulent activity, or conduct that REDI determines harms other members or the Biotech Corridor community.
10. Effect of Termination
If your membership is terminated by REDI for cause under the Termination by REDI section, your access to Premium features ceases immediately and no refund will be provided except as required by law.
11. Incorporation of Terms of Use and Privacy Policy
This Membership Agreement incorporates the Biotech Corridor Terms of Use and Privacy Policy by reference. By becoming a member, you agree to this Agreement, the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy.
12. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Maryland without regard for its conflict of laws provisions. Any dispute shall be resolved in the state or federal courts of Montgomery County, Maryland.
